Who is responsible
Splintertech Consulting is run by Malcolm Swim, Warsaw, Poland. I am responsible for any personal data described here. You can reach me at consult@splintertech.net about anything in this notice.
Browsing the site
The site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address and browser type. This is necessary to run the site securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Booking a consultation
Booking runs on Cal.com, provided by Cal.com, Inc. in the United States. Nothing is loaded from Cal.com until you choose to open the booking calendar with the “Show available times” button. At that point Cal.com receives your IP address and browser information.
When you book, you give your name, email address and anything you choose to write in the booking notes. I use these to arrange and prepare for the consultation, which is a step you have asked for before any agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Cal.com processes this data on my behalf. Transfers to the United States are covered by the safeguards described in Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Emailing me
If you email me, I use your message and address to reply and to continue the conversation you started.
How long I keep it
Booking details and emails are kept for as long as we are in contact about working together. If we do not start working together, I delete them within 12 months of our last contact.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or object to its use. Email me and I will respond within a month.
You also have the right to complain to the Polish data protection authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
Changes
When this site gains new features that handle personal data, this notice will be updated before they go live, and the date at the top will change.
